CRM Online QuickStart Training
xRM QuickStart Training is an online training program that is designed to be highly flexible and customizable to meet the unique needs of the business. Whether you need an introduction to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, guided training for your sales or service teams, or help setting up and configuring your deployment for the first time, our Microsoft Dynamics CRM instructor can transform you into an expert in only a few short hours. Included in this package is three hours of online instruction. At the request of the organization, the sessions can be recorded and made available for download. Each session must be one hour in length as a minimum, and all sessions are remote, as onsite sessions are not supported by the package. Hours must be used for training only, although any topic relevant to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is supported.
CRM QuickStart Blueprint
Your business likely has unique needs that cannot be completely met by a CRM application in its straight-out-of-the-box, unconfigured condition. However, jumping in and starting to modify it without planning is not the way to go either. The QuickStart Blueprint is designed to analyze your needs and then provide you with a sensible plan for configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to make it better match your business’ way of doing things. The package includes a one-hour meeting with a CRM architect, and also includes a detailed document of at least six pages in length that lists entities, their uses, key attributes, and an entity relationship diagram—essentially, a blueprint for your successful CRM deployment.
CRM QuickStart Dashboard Package
This package includes the creation of one Executive Dashboard for upper management, and up to three other dashboards: one for Marketing, one for Service, and one for Sales. The package can alternatively support the creation of dashboards for custom entities, limited to a total of four dashboards. This package does not include the creation of custom attributes required for the dashboards, nor does it include the manipulation of data. Other packages can be purchased if these items are required, or the Success Portal by xRM can be used to supplement training for requirements that are not included in a package, provided xRM is named as Partner of Record.
CRM QuickStart Business Process Flow Engineering
This package is designed to assist your organization with the design of a business process flow for use in your instance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The engagement starts with a 1-hour interview with a Business Process Specialist, and includes one Process Flow for up to two related entities with up to 5 fields per stage and up to 5 stages. Custom attributes that are required for the business process flow to operate properly are not included, but the data type and field names are part of the design, which is delivered. The Success Portal can be used to learn to make the simple configurations, or other packages can be combined to custom attributes, if they are necessary. Additionally, the design may also include ideas for workflows if they are appropriate to the business need.
CRM QuickStart Forms and Views
This package is designed to assist the organization with the design and creation of forms and views. It includes the creation or modification of up to four forms and four views. The four forms can be for the same entity or for up to four different entities. The same goes for views. This also includes the creation of up to 16 custom attributes or fields that do not yet exist on that entity or those entities. Also included is a 30-minute meeting with an architect, if the specific requirements cannot be gathered through email communication.
CRM QuickStart Outlook Configuration
This package is designed to assist your organization in configuring a set of Outlook filters for individual users—one set of filters per user for up to 5 users. Filters are important to control precisely what information is synchronized between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Outlook. The package includes the installation of the Outlook client for those users. Additional users would require consulting hours beyond the QuickStart Package.
CRM QuickStart Sitemap Modification
This package delivers modifications to the navigational structure of Microsoft Dynamics CRM as determined by the sitemap—essentially what appears where. This includes reorganization of the higher navigation levels of Areas, Groups, and Sub-Areas (such as Sales > Sales > Accounts) as well as the lower navigation of which related entities appear under a given entity (such as related Contacts and Opportunities under Accounts). Custom entities are supported. The customer must provide the desired new structure. The service is limited to 40 individual line changes across up to four 4 iterations of opening and modifying the sitemap.
CRM QuickStart Automatic Workflow Notifications
This package is designed to help the organization with their automated notifications. The package includes up to three separate email templates and up to three separate workflows that are triggered by up to three separate attributes. It also includes the creation of the attributes, if necessary. Wait conditions are also supported, as well as up to three separate Check Conditions.
CRM QuickStart Server Side Sync or Email Router
This package delivers the “Server Side Synchronization” or “Email Router” setup in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, whichever makes the most sense for the customer. The customer must supply xRM with the required information regarding the mail server that the Email Router or the Server Side Synchronization will operate on. The package also includes configuration of up to 10 mailbox records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The package does not include troubleshooting of mail server issues or configuration of the mail server such as password changes and the creation of email users.
CRM QuickStart Vertex Portal Deployment
Here’s the quickest, most efficient, and most affordable way to get your web-based CRM Vertex Portal up and running. It supports CRM Online or Partner-Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Vertex Online (the cloud version). It doesn’t support on-premises Vertex, where your company hosts the portal on its own web server, but please contact us for that service separately. This package includes a backup of any existing customizations, installation of the CRM Vertex solution into your CRM instance, and the initial portal deployment and configuration. We work with you to set the name of the portal, the display name of the company, the currency, and the application of the license key. We included theming using primary and secondary colors and branding with a logo if you have one. Additional theming or design services are beyond the scope of this package but are available separately. We apply your Terms and Conditions to the portal if you have them. Deployment is typically completed in only a few hours, depending on your supplying any necessary details listed above. Ongoing portal-configuration support after initial deployment is not included but is available outside this package.
CRM QuickStart Developer Training
Even for a developer experienced with the Microsoft .NET Framework, approaching a development project for Microsoft Dynamics CRM can be time-consuming because it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the API and make use of the Software Development Kit for CRM. This three-hour training, which should be broken up into three sessions, is a perfect introduction to Microsoft Dynamics CRM for .NET developers. Training is provided by senior .NET developers with at least five solid years of experience developing for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. In the first hour, the student downloads the SDK, installs it, and performs some basic CRUD operations via a console application. In the next session, Plug-ins and Workflow Assemblies are covered and exercises are provided to the student. In the third hour, the results of the exercises are usually discussed, but if there is time, a discussion around the actual requirements for your application can take place, and the instructor and student can design the application together. The program is flexible enough so that the third hour topic can be used at the discretion of the student if the topics are provided ahead of time. All sessions can be recorded and the student is able to stream them from a website later. We recommend that the student have at least a solid year of .NET programming experience to get the most out of this training package.
